Improvement in the 8yr old department
I would just like to post about my 8 year old baby who is behaving much better these days.........she doesn't use the electronics as much now as we have restricted it....she is talking to us nicer and going to bed almost on time. We had a nice little talk and it worked. Hopefully it will keep up.

Glad to hear there has been a bit of a turn around already. Positive parenting is the key - don't let them get the upper hand.
ReplyDeleteIs there something you and your daughter enjoy doing together, perhaps she is in need of some 'you and me' time.
Even now that my girls are 19 and 22, I like to go out with them separately, I think we talk more then.

Zoe does like spending girly time and we haven't done that for a while, probably got put off because of the way she was behaving. I will endeavour to do more with her as it does bring us closer and makes us feel good.
